1. Why was this website created?

MyJobRating.com is a website which was created for someone like you or me! It consists of a complete database of US employers which contains reviews and ratings submitted by regular people describing their work relationship with a particular employer. We hope this project will help you with finding a new job and successful continuing your career. We kindly request all visitors to leave at least one review. We believe our website will help you learn more about your potential employer as well as give you the opportunity to talk about your valuable, or invaluable, work experience with your current or past employer.

2. How do I use this website?

The best way to find a company you are looking for is to use the search bar. Just start typing the name of the business you are looking for and an implemented dynamic search function will give suggestions and show you the name of company you are looking for.

3. Do I have to sign up to leave a review?

You do not have to sign up to leave a review or submit a rating. We believe that anonymity is the key to success and the best way visitors will submit honest information about their employer and eliminate concern that their comment will affect their current employment status.

4. There are two fields for comments: positive and negative. Do I have to submit both?

We believe that no matter how good the company is you are working/worked for, there are always positives and negatives to the organization. We ask you to submit both positive and negative information, because we believe it will create a better picture about the atmosphere inside the company, which will be a benefit to future employees.

5. What kinds of reviews are prohibited?

It is prohibited to submit insults, obscene speech, and threats regarding any businesses or colleagues. All reviews are subject to regular inspection by the site administrator. Publication of false assessments that have nothing to do with reality, as well as artificial ratings, feedback or reviews are prohibited. In addition, any attempt to manipulate ratings, feedback, or reviews is forbidden.

6. I cannot find my post on the website, where did it go?

We allow visitors to leave reviews anonymously but we also review each comment before it appears on the website in order to maintain data quality. We strive to ensure that it takes less than 24 hours to check each review since it was submitted. If you cannot find your feedback within 48 hours it may mean that your post was not approved for display on the website.

7. How do I remove my post or someone else’s?

If you find a review that you think does not correspond to the Terms of Use of the website, you can notify the administration of the website by clicking "Report" link and sending a request to review the post again. Team members of MyJobRating.com will investigate the issue and take appropriate action.

8. I did not find the company I'm looking for. Can I add it to the website?

Yes, you can! But we would encourage you to first do a double check by using the search bar. If you still cannot find the company for which you are searching, please use the Add company form. Members of our team will take a closer look at your request and add missing businesses into our database in no time.

9. The information field about a particular company on the page is incorrect or empty. How can I notify administrator of the website of this issue?

There several ways to resolve this situation. First, you can send a letter to support@myjobrating.com about the issue and the administrator will be in touch with you as soon as possible and fix the problem. Second, you have the option to click the "Edit" button and correct or add additional or missing information about the business. Members of our team will check the submission and add correct information about a company within 48 hours.

10. I'm an owner of a business and I would like to remove it from the website. Is it possible?

Unfortunately, you cannot. If you are an owner of a great business and have nothing to hide, why would you want to remove your company from the website? We believe in freedom of speech and that user-generated content can be useful not only for employees but also for employers as well. There is always room for everyone to grow and improve. However, if you find a review that you think does not correspond to the Terms of Use, you can notify the administration of the website by clicking "Report" link and sending a request to double check it. Team members of MyJobRating.com will look into the issue and take appropriate action.

11. Do you accept phone calls?

Because we are still a small, but growing company, we do not take phone calls from potential customers. However, we are always more than happy to answer any questions via email. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are very fast at responding to emails so please do not hesitate to send us your questions.
